It is with great pleasure that we announce that Morgane Labbé was elected Directrice d’études at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) on 9 April 2022.

Her chair is titled “La longue transformation des sociétés et populations d’Europe de l’Est (XIXe-XXe siècles) [The long transformation of East European societies and populations, 19th and 20^th centuries]”.

She has recently co-edited with Fabio Giomi and Célia Keren, Public and Private Welfare in Modern Europe. Productive Entanglements. The volume is based upon research pursued in the framework of our Action.
