Keywords Reader: UPDATE

On 24 June the second workshop for the Keywords Reader project took place online. As the project leaders state, “it was a fruitful discussion, in which it became clearer what we would like to do. We decided to form small teams to work out drafts for the first six keywords (care, dependency, family, solidarity, voluntary action, welfare). These drafts will be discussed at our next online workshop in autumn 2022 […] Of course, the list of keywords can be extended, as soon as we have worked out a suitable format. At the moment we cannot yet specify where we best hook up with our Keywords Reader. A possible model is an earlier Keywords Project of the Universities of Pittsburgh and Cambridge.”

SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

  • Should you want to help drafting a keyword entry, you can assign yourself to a team here. The drafts for entries to the keywords reader that will be presented in the autumn workshop should be around 1 to 3 pages of length.
  • Should you want to participate in the next workshop, please feel invited to let the project leaders know until 15 July by signing in here.
  • An in person meeting is envisaged in spring 2023, probably close to the next MC meeting.
  • If you would like to share any thoughts on the Keywords Reader project with the project leaders, please do not hesitate to contact them! There is also a shared document in which you can leave your feedback (and read more).
